Fun, Learning, and Achievement

NFYFC would like to thank the following organisations who supported the Drive It Home campaign.

NFU Mutual

NFU Mutual is the UK’s leading rural insurer, offering a wide range of products, including general insurance, life, pensions and investments. With over 300 offices located in rural towns and villages throughout the UK, NFU Mutual has become part of the fabric of rural life and is committed to serving the needs of people who visit, live or work in the countryside by taking a proactive approach to issues such as improving rural road safety, tackling rural crime and improving the quality of life for all country dwellers.

Brake is an independent road safety charity. Brake exists to stop the five deaths and 66 serious injuries that happen on UK roads every day and to care for families bereaved and seriously injured in road crashes. Brake runs awareness-raising campaigns, community education programmes, events such as Road Safety Week (19-25 November 2012), and a Fleet Safety Forum, providing advice to companies. Brake’s support division cares for road crash victims through a helpline and other services. Brake’s 2young2die project engages young people in road safety awareness campaigns and workshops that discuss the risks they face and practical ways to be safer.

Drive Doctors

Drive Doctors was founded by two race driving instructors who are using their motorsport skills and applying them to real scenarios on the road with the aim of keeping customers safe. Their aim is to allow their customers to experience what happens when things go wrong on the road but in a safe environment. Their facility at Prodrive near Kenilworth in Warwickshire allows them to fully simulate the dangerous scenarios which drivers can encounter every day.

Road Safety Analysis (RSA)

Road Safety Analysis (RSA) is a not-for-profit company that exists to provide data solutions to the public and road safety profession. Established in 2010, it supports MAST Online a powerful yet user-friendly tool for analysing road casualty trends and examining the impact of residence, social and demographic factors on casualty rates. RSA also offers an extensive package of support to a number of local authorities, providing analytical expertise, enforcement management, casualty data reporting, intervention planning and delivery.

The Rural Youth Trust

The aim of the trust is to support effective voluntary youth work with, and on behalf of, young people in the rural areas of England & Wales. The trust will concern itself primarily with the motivation and training of young people, developing their personalities and individual capacity to play their full part as caring and active members of their rural communities.
