EXCLUSIVE TO WALES YFC MEMBERS IN 2012

The trips in this section are additional to the NFYFC Discovery trips and are available exclusively to members of YFCs in Wales.

Each year, there is an opportunity to travel on five short-stay trips were you will stay with families, as well as the chance to attend Rural Youth Europe events such as the European Rally and Seminars.

In 2012 there will also be a new opportunity to travel for a longer period to Montana in the USA and as a group.

Travelling with YFC is different from a holiday. It's a chance to meet exceptional people, achieve new things, feel like part of a family and visit special places that allows you to broaden your horizons and learn about YFC in different countries. And you get to be independent, make life-long friends and boost your self confidence.

  HOMESTAYS

Wales YFC has teamed up with rural youth organisations in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Finland, the USA and Canada. These trips vary in length from a fortnight to three months.  Wales YFC members have the opportunity to see another country, learn about the culture, the rural youth organisation and make many new friends. The cost of the trips is usually the price of a plane ticket, insurance and social expenditure. In return two members from each of the participating countries are invited back to Wales for a fortnight in July. These members are hosted by clubs within Wales county federations.
