Cheltenham Racecourse

Cheltenham Racecourse is home to some of the most prestigious jump racing in the world. The racecourse organises an NFYFC Race Day at its Open Meeting in November at which YFC members enjoy their own hospitality marquee and discounted ticket prices.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive and flexible programme of cultural and adventurous activities for all young people. NFYFC is one of 400 licensed operating authorities for the award and members aged 14-25 can apply to take part in the programme through NFYFC.

English Rural Housing Association

English Rural is one of the leading researchers and developers of affordable village housing, and works with a variety of partners to tackle the housing problems affecting rural communities. It works in partnership with NFYFC to conduct surveys within YFC on rural housing issues.


Farming & Countryside Education (FACE)

Farming and Countryside Education (FACE) helps young children learn about food and farming and is a partner for the Year of Food and Farming. NFYFC is one of FACE’s 70 membership organisations.

Fresh Start

Fresh Start is an industry-led initiative designed to encourage new entrants into farming and to help established farmers think about how they can develop their businesses in the future. NFYFC is a major supporter and YFC members are actively involved with Fresh Start Academies.


iTOL

The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning is the professional body for people specialising in training, development and occupational learning. Its accreditation of NFYFC’s Train the Trainer, Advanced Train the Trainer and Leadership Development courses ensures that training offered is highly regarded by employers and colleges/universities, and results in an internationally recognised training qualification.


Health and Safety Executive

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE), together with local government, enforces health and safety regulation in Great Britain on behalf of the Health and Safety Commission. HSE works with NFYFC to organise health and safety training days, and to help raise awareness and cut the annual death and accident rate from farming accidents through its Make the Promise campaign.


Lantra

Lantra is the Sector Skills Council for the environment and land-based industries. Its main objective is to drive forward skills, learning and training within its sectors. Lantra works with NFYFC to promote careers and research the training needs of YFC members.

RABI

RABI is the national farming charity for England and Wales providing welfare advice, care and financial assistance to farmers, farm workers and their dependents.

RASE

The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) helps develop British agriculture and a vibrant rural economy by promoting good practice and having a coordinated, impartial approach to rural issues. The RASE supports NFYFC’s presence at many of their technical events.


 

 

 

 

 

Newbury and District Agricultural Society

Newbury and District Agricultural Society hosts a number of NFYFC's national competition finals at its Royal County of Berkshire Show.



 

 

NSPCC

The NSPCC children's charity aims to wipe out child abuse in the UK by providing training, education and support. The NSPCC assisted NFYFC in its 2009 safeguarding policy review and has continued to be an advisory service for the organisation of safeguarding legislation and implementation.


Rural Youth Network

Rural Youth Network is a leading voice in rural youth affairs.  It is a unique independent national charity established in 1985.  Rural Youth Network works with partners from voluntary, community and statutory sectors to make a difference on the issues that affect young people and those who work with them in rural areas.  The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs has a place on the trustee board as well as being a member.


 

 

 

 

Staffordshire and Birmingham Agricultural Society

Staffordshire and Birmingham Agricultural Society hosts a number of NFYFC's national competition finals at its English Winter Fair.



 

 

 

 

 

The British Wool Marketing Board

The BWMB is working with NFYFC to provide reciprocal benefits for the two organisations’ members. YFC members can acquire new skills, knowledge and training whilst helping to promote British wool.


 

 

 

 

 

 

Three Counties Agricultural Society

Three Counties Agricultural Society hosts a number of NFYFC's national competition finals at its Malvern Autumn Show.


 

 

 

 

V

Vinspired is a government funded scheme to encourage a new generation of young people to volunteer in their communities. The NFYFC is working with V to encourage young volunteers within the organisation to receive recognition and accreditation for the hours they spend volunteering to support YFC clubs across the country.
