Permanent funding streams


Awards for All

Awards for All offer grants of between £300 and £10,000 for projects that improve communities, and the lives of people within them.

BIG lottery fund

CLA Charitable Trust

The CLA trust gives grants and awards that focus on smaller projects where the grant makes a real contribution to the success of that project.

Comic Relief

Comic relief fund a variety of projects with young people nationally. The grants  vary between £25,000 and £40,000 per year and are given to larger groups so it may be beneficial to apply as a county federation or even an area.

Funding Central

Funding central is a database of hundreds of funders that give money to voluntary organisations like YFCs. If you have a project idea in mind why not search to see any current funding streams match your criteria.

FunderFinder's website

FunderFinder is a small UK charity producing software and other resources, mainly for grant-seekers. They specialise in information and advice about charitable trusts and foundations that fund in the UK.

Garfield Weston Foundation

GRANT finder

GRANT finder is the UK's leading grants and policy database and includes details of more than 6,000 funding opportunities. GRANT finder subscribers include local authorities, the voluntary and charitable sector, universities and colleges, housing associations, the health sector and business support organisations.

Grassroots grants

Grants offered are between £250 and £5,000.

Government Funding

Search for funding for the voluntary and community sector from 150 Local Authorities using this new Local Authority Funder Finder.

Lantra LandSkills funding

Lantra's LandSkills projects can fund skills development, knowledge transfer and training.

National Lottery

The National Lottery manages many funding streams and has created a website that searches them for you to ensure that you are applying for funding that is specific to your group.

Naturesave Trust

The Naturesave Trust was set up in 1995 to fund specific environmental and conservation projects throughout the UK.

NatWest’s CommunityForce
A new initiative to help local charities, organisations and groups raise publicity of their work and attract volunteers.  For further information please visit the NatWest CommunityForce website.
 

O2 It's Your Community awards

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to local groups and individuals to support projects that bring people together and benefit the community.

Prince's Countryside Fund

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is a unique collaboration of brands and businesses working together to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy.

RABI Gateway project

This project aims to help individuals who want to supplement their income from outside the farm.

Sport England

Sport England has many funding streams that that can be used to buy equipment, pay for tuition or to start up new sporting activities.

UnLtd Sport Relief awards

Funded by Comic Relief, the UK wide funding programme is for 11-21-year-olds prepared to use their passion for sport and arts to bring respect and understanding to their communities by setting up their own projects.

YouthBank UK

YouthBank UK is a national grantmaking initiative run by young people for young people. Local YouthBanks provide small grants to projects led by young people, to help benefit the community.

Youth music grant programme

The Youth Music Open Programme is now available for organisations wishing to apply for grants of between £5,000 to £30,000.

 Youth Opportunities Fund

Funded activities must support the five Every Child Matters outcomes, benefit the local community and offer good value for money.

Office 2007 compatibility

Microsoft Office 2007

To open Microsoft Office Word 2007 .docx or .docm files with Microsoft Office Word 2003, Word 2002, or Word 2000, you need to install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint File Formats and any necessary Office updates. By using the Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system, you can open, edit some items, and save Office Word 2007 documents in previous versions of Word.
