NFYFC/National Non Food Crops Centre study tour to Germany
A group of young farmers recently travelled to Germany for a two-day tour of farms incorporating renewable technology as well as the German Agency for Renewable Resources, Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe (FNR).
The group was also given an update on current activity and future potential in the biomass, biofuels and biogas sectors, in Germany and the UK.
The study tour was organised in response to a request made at the 2007 Agriculture and Rural Affairs Forum at the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs’ (NFYFC) Annual Convention.
