Will I be able to get in if I am under 18, and want to buy a ticket on the day?
Under 18s can only get tickets in advance, and have a signed parental consent form. No sales will be made to under 18s on the day

Does each county have a set amount of tickets for sale?
NFYFC never allocates each county or club with a specific amount of tickets - thus, they will never run out of tickets. Please remember that tickets are also available to buy on the doors at the event

What happens if I lose my wristband?
You can buy a replacement wristband for £5, but if you lose it a second time, you will be asked to leave

Do I have to wear a tie on the Friday night event?
Yes! If you don't wear a tie, you will be the odd one out, look silly, and not even be allowed in

Do I still need to bring ID even once I have my membership card and wristband?
Yes! your wristband and membership card does not prove to anyone that you are over or under 18. The bars inside the arena and the local bars will only accept valid ID for serving alcohol (passport, driving licence and proof of age card)

What happens if I don't have my membership card with me?
If you turn up without your current membership card you will not be allowed into the event

What happens if my membership card doesn't have a photo on it?
If your photo isn't on your card, is defaced, or doesn't bare a true likeness of you, then you will not be allowed to collect or buy a wristband

What is the latest I can get into the Winter Gardens?
The entrance closes at Midnight every night. If you come at 12:05am, you will be turned away.

What happens if my membership card doesn't have a signature on it?
Then you must pay a £10 fine, show us your passport or driving licence, and sign your card infront of a member of staff

I have purchased a wristband in advance, but wish to upgrade my package to include more days
You can do this on the day, but you will pay 'on-the-day' prices for the upgrade, please click here to see upgrade prices. You must be over 18 to upgrade

I have ordered my wristband in advance, but can no longer attend, can I give my wristband to a friend?
No refunds or swaps can be made after April 4th. This means if your friend turns up with your package, they will not get in! (If you wish to make swaps before this date, you must contact your county office in advance)

The deadline has passed for advanced orders, but my teams has only just qualified for a final at the Annual Convention, can I still buy reduced price tickets?
National competition finalists can buy reduced priced tickets up until April 16th (lucky you!) please contact your county organiser to purchase your tickets

How can I pay on the day?
We will only accept cash or card (No cheques or IOU's -sorry!)

I registered with my county recently, and want to buy a ticket on the day, is this possible?
You must be on the National database to get into the event, if you are not on the National database, you will not be allowed to buy tickets on the day (yes, even if you registered yesterday, have a piece of paper with your county organisers signature on it, are the county chairman, can phone your organiser, have their e-mail, have a fax from them personally, have the T-shirt... you still won't be coming in if you are not on the database! )
(PS.This is due to insurance, the venue only insures people on our database)

When is the closing date for booking advanced packages?
APRIL 4TH - NO LATER! (go put it in your diary, quickly!)

My friend wants to come to see some of the entertainment, is (s)he allowed to buy a 1 day ticket?
Only if that person is a registered member, has their membership card on them, is over 18 years old, and is on CMDS.
