FY1 1HL
The Winter Gardens complex is perfectly situated at the heart of the north west of England, in Britain’s most famous seaside resort. Delegates and guests find it quick, easy and, above all, convenient to get to Blackpool - no matter where their journey begins.
Getting to Blackpool
By Road
Blackpool is easily accessible from all parts of the UK with the M55 motorway, which leads right into the heart of the resort, linking the town to the country's motorway network.
Once you arrive in the seaside town, you’ll find there are more than 8,000 parking spaces in the many car parks dotted around central Blackpool.
As you’d expect with any major holiday resort the route to Blackpool is often congested, particularly in the summer season and during September and October when the Illuminations are on.
The main problems seem to be exiting the M6 on to the M55, where you can be stuck in traffic jams for five minutes to half an hour, so please allow extra time for your journey during these busy periods.
From the South:
Take the M6 northbound to junction 32 and then continue on to the M55 (signposted Blackpool). Exit on to the M55 Slip road at junction 4 and then continue straight ahead on to the A583, following signs for the town centre/tourist attractions. From the North:
Take the M6 southbound to junction 32 and then continue on to the M55 (signposted Blackpool). Exit on to the M55 Slip road at junction 4 and then continue straight ahead on to the A583, following signs for the town centre/tourist attractions. From the North West (Manchester, Liverpool):
Take the M60 ring road and join the M61 at junction 15 (signposted Bolton/Preston). Continue on the M61 for around 20 miles before joining the M6 northbound. Continue straight ahead until junction 32 and then take the M55 (signposted Blackpool). Exit on to the M55 Slip road at junction 4 and then continue straight ahead on to the A583, following signs for the town centre/tourist attractions.By rail
Blackpool benefits from an excellent rail network linking Scotland, Yorkshire, the Midlands and the south east.
By air
With daily flights from London-Stansted , Belfast, Dublin and other European cities to the newly developed Blackpool Airport, the Winter Gardens is more accessible than ever before. Also, Manchester International Airport is only an hour’s drive away.
