Defra invites feedback on Bovine TB control consultation
The Coalition Government has committed, as part of a package of measures, to develop affordable options for a carefully-managed and science-led policy of badger control in areas with high and persistent levels of bovine TB in cattle. Defra is inviting your on the Government’s planned approach to tackling bovine TB in badgers through this consultation.
Commission for Rural Communities: Big Society call for evidence
At a time when organisations and individuals are encouraged to have greater involvement in the running of public services as part of the Government’s ‘Big Society’ initiative, there are concerns that many organisations are experiencing or facing funding cuts including in rural England. To help the Commission for Rural Communities advise Government on ways of fully embracing the contribution and needs of rural communities in the Big Society, CRC would like to hear your views and experiences.
European Commission invites views for CAP reform 2013
