Business and Tenancy Training

NFYFC and Savills offer YFC members the chance to gain professional advice for future farming ventures.

Business and tenancy training events had to be postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic but to ensure YFC members can still access this important information Savills has recorded a podcast on the topic with former YFC member and countryside broadcaster Ben Eagle from the Meet the Farmer podcast. The podcast features Ben in discussion with Savills’ business consultants Ashley Lilley and Georgina Sweeting. They talk about many of the topics covered in the events and the training presentation is also available online to help with any business or tenancy issues you might be considering.

As we face unprecedented changes in British agriculture, the podcast includes advice on post-Brexit markets and trading as well as insights on applying for a tenancy and share farming.

Hundreds of YFC members have gained advice from past training sessions with Savills and enjoyed the benefits of professional tips and expertise from their business consultants.

The information in the podcast will help YFC members to:

  • Be prepared for a farming business future
  • Take advantage of professional advice
  • Benchmark existing skills.

The podcast will be live from 26 August 2020 and you can access the recording here.
