Young Farmers on their way to Glastonbury this month can get some festival freebies at Mole Valley Farmers Bridgwater’s Pre-Glastonbury Pop-Up Festival Shop.
The team at Mole Valley recognised there can be long queues to get to Glastonbury and that someone always forgets a camping essential so they decided to help out with a pop-up shop full of emergency supplies and some home comforts too.
The shop will be open on 24, 25 and 26 June and Young Farmers who show their membership cards get a free go in the lucky dip. Prizes include torches, rubber mallets, fleece picnic rugs, in-store vouchers, camping lanterns and a four-person tent!
As well as last minute festival goodies, there is also the offer of clean loos – making it the perfect stop off for anyone attending the major music shindig.
How to find the Pop-Up Festival Shop
The shop will be just 19 miles from the Glastonbury site at Pilton and just two miles off the main route to the festival off Junction 23 on the M5.
Tues 24 June 14:00 – 22:00
Wed 25 June 06:00 – 22:00
Thurs 26 June 06:00 – 14:00.

NFYFC will be joining more than 460 exhibitors at Livestock Event - the UK’s largest livestock trade event which runs from 2-3 July at the NEC in Birmingham. The event has 11 unique product zones, four seminar areas, foot trimming demonstrations, National Dairy & Beef Shows and the National Lleyn Competition.
Young Farmers attending the event should look out for the Career Seminars that include advice on topics such as essential guides to getting a job, how to stay professional on social media and ‘day in the life of’ sessions on a number of different roles.
Any NFYFC members buying a ticket to the show can benefit from a show offer of free coach travel to the venue. Come and say hello to the NFYFC team in Hall 20 on stand number MK263.
Members of NFYFC’s Youth Forum will also be promoting the Federation at the CLA Game Fair from 18-20 July at Blenheim Palace.
An important feature of the stand is a new game created by the Youth Forum and designed to educate people about where food comes from.
Representatives of the Youth Forum will be joined by SuperMoo on the stand to promote what the Federation does for young people with a love of the countryside.
Sioned Davies, Chairman of the Youth Forum, said: “We are really excited to be part of this year’s CLA Game Fair and to help celebrate all that is great about the British countryside. Our Youth Forum will be promoting the crucial role our Federation plays and the event is also a fantastic opportunity for our members to meet other organisations, industry leaders and the public.”
Advance ticket prices for the CLA Game Fair can be found online and you can make savings until the end of June.
If you’re attending any of the Shows this summer, tweet us a selfie with the hashtag #showtimeyfc from the NFYFC stand!
