Fun, Learning, and Achievement

10 August 2016

The farming industry is uniting to celebrate British, Red Tractor food in September, and is urging as many farmers as possible to get involved.

Now in its fifth year, Red Tractor Week is shaping up to be better than ever and will provide a great platform to tell shoppers and the media about all the hard work that goes in to producing quality British assured food.

What’s happening?

During Red Tractor Week a number of events will be held in supermarkets across the UK providing farmers with an opportunity to talk positively to shoppers about what the Red Tractor logo means. Red Tractor Assurance, NFU, NFU Scotland, National Pig Association, NFYFC, Ladies in Pigs, Ladies in Beef and the National Sheep Association are working together now to organise these events.

Want to get involved?

Dates and locations of stores hosting events are being finalised. Details will be released as soon as they are ready along with information about how to get involved.

You can tell consumers to look out for farmer facing events throughout Red Tractor Week in September and use the hashtag #GreatBritishFood2016

You can follow Red Tractor on Twitter – @RTFarmers – to keep up to date with all the latest news.

Don’t forget you can order free branded materials online to help you spread the message about Red Tractor food. Postcards, stickers, banners, pens, key rings and more are available on the Red Tractor website here
