Despite the wet weather, two YFC members are feeling a whole lot happier about sloshing through the mud after winning new footwear in NFYFC’s Muck Boots competition!

The YFC competition, which was promoted on Instagram and Facebook in December, asked YFC members to state on the post where they would wear their Muck Boots if they won a pair. Members George Rudkin from Leicestershire and Hannah Phillips from Pembrokeshire were the two lucky winners of a pair of boots up to the value of £120.

George, 14, from Rearsby & District YFC, lives on his family farm and has chosen the men’s Muckmaster Boots as his prize to help him keep his feet warm during lambing.

"I am really excited and pleased to have won a new pair of Muck Boots,” said George. “With everywhere being so wet and muddy this year it will be lovely to go out on the family farm every evening after school to feed the cattle and help with lambing and know I am going to have lovely warm and dry feet even if everywhere else is cold and wet."

Hannah from Templeton YFC chose the women’s Chore Classic tall boots and also plans to wear them when working on her family’s farm.

“I am delighted to have won a pair of muck boots, as I have recently been thinking I need to replace my farm boots soon,” said Hannah.

Muck Boots make premium products born from necessity, not luxury. Every boot in the line keeps you in your comfort zone with 100% waterproof quality. Waterproof, weatherproof, whatever-proof. Muck Boots put proof in every pair!
