The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) is aware of events in Blackpool over the bank holiday weekend (29 April -2 May 2022) that have been organised by local bars to attract young farmers to the town.

NFYFC is not organising, sanctioning or promoting any events that are being hosted in Blackpool in 2022. Any individuals attending these events in Blackpool during the bank holiday weekend do not represent the organisation.

As the event in Blackpool on 29 April-2 May 2022 has not been organised or sanctioned by NFYFC, the YFC membership insurance policy will not provide any insurance cover for both public and personal liability.

NFYFC representatives will not be in Blackpool during the weekend and will not provide assistance to YFC members who are in the town.

NFYFC has informed the local police and the Council that NFYFC is not involved in these events and has no plans to hold events for its members in the town for the foreseeable future.
