National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs

Fun, Learning, and Achievement

19 August 2011

Join NFYFC president Matt Baker at Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, on 3 September as Young Farmers' Clubs members put their stockjudging prowess to the test and champion agricultural safety while honing their own safety skills and awareness.

The college is a new venue this year for three of NFYFC's competitions being held over 3 and 4 September as they compete for the titles of Senior Stockman, Young Stockjudge, and showcase their skills in the Efficiency With Safety competition.

Eighteen young stockmen and women will be striving for the Senior Stockman trophy, and 28 entrants will work in teams of four in the Efficiency With Safety contest, both on the Saturday, and 21 of the federations younger members will compete to take home the silver in the Young Stockjudge competition on the Sunday.

Check out what Matt has to say in the first message of his new president's vlog, and visit regularly for the latest updates and messages from him at www.nfyfc.org.uk/mattbakerblog
