Ongoing professional development, networking, training and talks from visiting experts are just a few of the opportunities on offer at the NFYFC staff conference 2011.

The conference is an ideal opportunity to share best practice and keep up to date with developments and helps staff continue to build on the skills needed to work within YFC.

Conference 2011 highlights:

• NCYVS CEO Susanne Rauprich will speak on the financial climate for voluntary youth organisations and the way ahead.

• Excel training by professional external trainers.

• NFYFC CEO Di Calvert and chairman of the board of management Mike Stirk will outline NFYFC's strategic planning  process.

• New NFYFC database.

• County discussion on Facebook and social networking.

• Round-table sessions on competitions, training, safeguarding, youthwork and the new website and communications.

• HR support.
  

The conference costs £40 (twin sharing)  £90 (double room, single occupant), which includes overnight accommodation and full board. All staff should have already received a booking form, which should be returned with payment in full to NFYFC, YFC Centre, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2LG, by Monday 24 January 2011.
