Cheltenham Racecourse

Cheltenham Racecourse is home to some of the most prestigious jump racing in the world. The racecourse organises an NFYFC Race Day at its Open Meeting in November at which YFC members enjoy their own hospitality marquee and discounted ticket prices.

CLA (Country Land & Business Association)

The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) safeguards the interests of those responsible for land, property and business throughout rural England and Wales. A YFC representative sits on its Agriculture and Land Use Committee.

DEFRA

The government’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) supports NFYFC’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Forum, Regional Link Days and the national final of the farm business development competition. It is also a supporter of Fresh Start.

EBLEX

The English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) helps the beef and lamb industry boost its competitiveness and promote its products. EBLEX works with NFYFC to promote good stockmanship practice among young producers and produces a stockjudging guide for YFC members.

FACE

Farming and Countryside Education (FACE) helps young children learn about food and farming and is a partner for the Year of Food and Farming. NFYFC is one of FACE’s 70 membership organisations and helps run its mentoring scheme for schoolchildren at the Royal Show.

HOPS Labour Solutions

HOPS Labour Solutions is a department of NFYFC. It is a Home Office-appointed operator of the Seasonal Agricultural Workers’ Scheme (SAWS) and runs its own Seasonal Workers Programme (SWP). HOPS underwrites a number of NFYFC’s key services.

Ifor Williams Trailers

Ifor Williams Trailers is a UK trailer manufacturer. Its product range includes livestock, horse, general purpose, tipping, plant, flatbed and box van trailers. Ifor Williams Trailers supports the national final of NFYFC’s ATV Challenge.

Lantra

Lantra is the Sector Skills Council for the environment and land-based industries. Its main objective is to drive forward skills, learning and training within its sectors. Lantra works with NFYFC to promote careers and research the training needs of YFC members.

LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming)

Linking Environment And Farming (LEAF) helps farmers adopt environmentally responsible farming practices and creates a better public understanding of farming. A YFC member sits on LEAF’s Consultative Forum.

NAAC

NAAC represents UK contractors who supply all types of land-based services to farmers, government, local authorities, sports and recreational facilities. It is supporting NFYFC by providing judges for the Efficiency With Safety competition 2009.

NetRegs

NetRegs provides free guidance on environmental regulation to small and medium sized businesses in the UK, including forthcoming legislation to help you plan for the future.

New Holland

New Holland Agriculture is a global brand, incorporating the knowledge & expertise of companies that have changed agriculture around the world. New Holland supports NFYFC by providing equipment for the Efficiency with Safety competition finals at the Royal Show.

NFU

The National Farmers’ Union (NFU) champions British farming and provides professional representation and services to more than 60,000 farmers and growers. It offers NFYFC a place for a YFC representative to observe the business of its National Council.

NFU Mutual

NFU Mutual is a provider of insurance, pensions and investments. The NFU Mutual Charitable Trust has funded the mailing of NFYFC’s magazine Ten26 for the past seven years and is currently supporting the development of its website.

Nomark Equip

Nomark Equip specialise in the sales of All Terrain Vehicles and associated equipment. Being a member of the National Quad Centres they are able to service, repair and supply parts for any make of ATV. Nomark Equip supports the national final of NFYFC’s ATV Challenge.

RASE

The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) helps develop British agriculture and a vibrant rural economy by promoting good practice and having a coordinated, impartial approach to rural issues. The RASE supports NFYFC’s presence at many of their technical events.

Rural Youth Network

Rural Youth Network works to raise awareness of issues faced by young people in rural areas, as well as providing support and services to those who work with them. A member of the NFYFC staff team has a place on the network’s Executive Committee.

Savills

Savills Rural is focused on the commercial needs of landowners, farmers and rural businesses with 22 dedicated rural offices around the country and over 200 professionals. Savills work closely with NFYFC across the country supporting young people in the countryside.

The British Grassland Society

The British Grassland Society is a network for farmers, advisors and scientists. Local clubs in many counties hold evening meetings and farmwalks. With YFC we’ve developed Grassland Challenge as a fun and educational on-farm meeting for YFC clubs

The National Trust

The National Trust works to preserve and protect the coastline, countryside and buildings of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is a supporter of NFYFC’s 2007 Regional Walk the Food Chain Days and the ‘Your Future and Farming Survey’.

The Tenant Farmers Association

The Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) is the only organisation dedicated to the agricultural tenanted sector and is the voice of tenant farmers. It sponsors the national final of NFYFC’s farm business development competition.
