Clubs could apply for £500 for their YFC if they are involved in a community or environmental project.

Activities such as a pond clearance, constructing a children’s play area, footpath laying, tree planting, village tidying and so on could entitle a club to £500 thanks to the Youth Social Action fund.

To qualify for the award your project must satisfy the Youth Social Action criteria:
•    It involves members aged 10- 20 years old in the planning, organising and evaluation of the project
•    The project will run for at least 8 hours within a 4 to 12 week timeframe
•    The project will be member-led i.e by the 10- 20 year olds
•    The project will address a real conservation or community need
•    The project will include planning, delivery and evaluation
•    The project will require members to keep a log of their learning experience
