Wales YFC to launch welsh assembly government elections manifesto

Wales YFC will launch it’s manifesto for the forthcoming Welsh Assembly Government Elections on Sunday the 17th of April at Cwmcerrig Farm Shop, Llanelli.

Representatives from all of Wales’ four main political parties are expected to attend the launch of the manifesto which sets out the priorities the organisation has identified for the Welsh Government’s next term.

Enfys Evans, Wales YFC Chairman states,
“We are young people that are privileged to be living in rural areas, however we do have concerns that we seek to address with the assistance of our Welsh Assembly Government.

We’re thankful for the opportunities we’ve had to work with the Welsh Assembly Government in recent times and we hope that the co-operation develops during the next term so that we can continue to put forward the views of our membership which will hopefully benefit our rural communities and the agricultural industry.”

Rhys Evans, Wales YFC Rural Affairs Committee chairman will chair the hustings with the party representatives and noted
“We are extremely grateful to the candidates for giving their time to take part in this event with Wales YFC and hope that a number of members will come along to question them on their priorities. Wales YFC are also thankful to Cwmcerrig Farm Shop for allowing us to hold this event in their splendid location.”

If anyone is interested in attending the event contact Kay Lewis, Wales YFC Rural Development Officer on 01982 553 502.
