YFC Isolation Stockjudging Challenge

(in conjunction with Staffordshire YFC)

How to take part: 

Put your stockjudging skills to the test by taking part in this week's fun Challenge. 

Watch the two videos – one which shows four beef cattle and the other which shows four dairy cattle. Each animal in the video is labelled ABXY and you are required to place the animals in order and submit your placings and reasons. 

There are three age categories for this Challenge – Junior (16), Intermediate (21) and Senior (26).

How to enter 

Entrants to the challenge must record a short video message (no longer than two mins) giving their reasons – this can be a video showing you giving the reasons or a voice recording. Handwritten reasons will not be accepted.  

Please email your entry to or send via private message to NFYFC's Facebook page. 


All entries must be received by 12 noon on Weds 3 June and must include your name, age, club and county and also state either Dairy or Beef and the Order i.e. ABXY. 

The master judges will provide their feedback and reasons at 7pm on the Challenge Final Day on Facebook.


By entering this competition you give permission for your video to be used by the NFYFC for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your video to be used, please state this on entering. We will need to seek parental consent to use your video if you are under 18 and feature in the video.
