Fun, Learning, and Achievement

Challenge opens:

17 April

Challenge closes:

23 April

Challenge final:

Five of the best entries will go through to the Challenge final, which will be held at the Greatest Online Agricultural Show on 2 May. The winner will be decided by a public vote.

How to take part:

It's time to show the world just how talented you – and your family (optional) – are in our YFC's Got Talent Challenge. Let your house, garden, farm be your stage – and record your well-crafted (muddled together) showpiece to share on social media. The only real criteria is you need to record a short video that will entertain the YFC masses – and must be suitable for a family audience!

Some guidelines:

  • Record an entertaining video that is suitable to share on social media (videos must be under five minutes).
  • You can sing, dance, juggle, tell jokes (keep them clean though, as this is a family show!) – the choice is yours
  • Please start your video by introducing yourself and naming the club and county where you are a member
  • You can involve members of your family who you are in isolation with in this video (who are happy to be featured on social media)
  • You can also enter as a YFC if you want to record separate clips and edit them together
  • Videos should be shared on Social Media (Instagram/Facebook/Twitter) alongside the hashtag #YFCathome - please remember to tag @NFYFC in your post so we can see your videos!

Please note:

  • Please make sure all videos represent YFC in a positive light and appeal to a wide-range of ages - including children (avoid profanity, violence and scenes of a sexual nature).

NFYFC’s tags are @NFYFC (Instagram) and National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (Facebook).

By entering this competition you give permission for the videos to be used by the NFYFC for marketing and promotional purposes. Images may be entered into ‘The Greatest Online Agricultural Show’ – more information to be provided on this.
