This trip enables those travelling to have a group travel experience and it will also include the opportunity to see Niagara Falls, attend the Toronto Winter Fair and have a meal on the final evening in the CN Tower overlooking Toronto.
Depart to Toronto and enjoy a couple of nights in the region exploring one of the most iconic natural wonders, Niagara Falls. You will visit the falls up close, then tour the powerhouse and tunnels underneath to witness the hydroelectric facility driven by the power of the waterfall. Follow the great river as far as Lake Ontario and visit the small town that sits on the shore of one of the Great Lakes of North America.
Departing Toronto, we will visit a dairy farm and look at the grain shipping system and the integrated grain lift that supports the rail sidings. Depart to visit a young farmer who is operating his own dairy business before going on to visit the Mennonite settlement and their farming operation. Alongside the famous St Jacobs Market with its 400 vendors there is the Electronic Auction managed by the Mennonite Community and a key livestock sales operation.
Return to Toronto and enjoy a city tour of the Canadian metropolis with towering buildings, bustling streets, and a famous waterfront skyline dominated by the CN Tower. Spend 2 days visiting the Royal Agriculture Winter Fair, a highlight of the Canadian Agri calendar. The Winter Fair enjoys over 320,000 visitors including exhibitors. Over 6,000 animals arrive in Toronto each November, including nearly 5,000 head of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits and birds. There are more than 900 horses and ponies, a display of crops and vegetables, educational exhibits, and feature attractions. The Royal Horse Show is a gala event that has been a cornerstone of the fair since its inception in 1922.
