YFC members will meet in Wales this April for NFYFC’s Annual Meeting of Clubs (AMC), which will be held alongside a weekend of competition finals.
The AMC will be on Sunday 26 April at the Elephant and Castle Hotel in Newtown, Montgomery at 10.30am. YFC members attending the weekend will also have the chance to cheer on teams in three national competition finals.
The Performing Arts final (25-26 April), which this year is themed Entertainments, will be held at the Hafren Theatre, just a short drive away from the AMC venue, along with the finals for the Junior and Senior Member of the Year competitions on the Saturday.
There are also plans for an AGRI Forum to be held on the same weekend.
NFYFC Chair James Nixey said:
“We’re excited to be holding NFYFC’s Annual Meeting of Clubs in Montgomery this year. It’s a great opportunity for our members in Wales and over the border to attend the meeting and the competitions being held in the local area that weekend.
“We welcome all our members and supporters to the AMC in April to celebrate our 2025 YFC successes and to debate any key issues affecting rural young people and our membership.”
The AMC will include the election of the NFYFC President, as well as deputy presidents and life vice presidents, and to review and formally accept the Annual Report 2025.
YFC Clubs and County Federations are invited to submit motions by 12 February 2026 to be included on the agenda for the AMC.
Once a second agenda is shared, YFC Clubs and County Federations will have until 19 March to submit any amendments to the motions, with the final agenda being shared on 29 March 2026.
