National Young Farmers' Week 2026

Get ready for National Young Farmers’ Week 2026

5-9 October 2026

National Young Farmers’ Week is a week-long celebration of all things YFC and this year we're celebrating how YFC gives us a sense of belonging.

We want YFCs to get involved by sharing how their club helps members belong, and how their club belongs to their rural community and the wider industry. We're also encouraging our members, alumni and supporters to share how YFC gives them a sense of belonging too!

There are lots of ways you and your YFC can get involved in National Young Farmers' Week this year and we hope you'll join us in celebrating the best rural youth organisation!

Get involved

1. Club challenge: Take part in our club challenge to build a scarecrow scene in your rural community, promoting belonging. Find out more.

2. Acts of kindness: Complete an act of kindness in your local community – from cooking up a big breakfast in the village hall to organising a litter pick – we want to record all the impact YFCs are making as we head towards NFYFC's centenary year. Find out more.

2. YFC Food Drop: Involve your YFC in the YFC Food Drop by collecting essential supplies for your local food bank. Take a photo and complete our online form to share how many bags you collected.

3. Dear Future Me... NFYFC is 100 in 2032, we want YFCs and members to write a letter to their future selves. What are you hoping to achieve in YFC by 2032? Find out more.

4. Social media: Share how your club belongs by posting on social media during National Young Farmers' Week (5-9 October 2026). Toolkits coming soon!
