Be part of YFC in 2025-26

As the new membership year springs into action on 1 September 2025, there’s lots to look forward to in the world of YFC!

Make sure you’re all signed up so you’re ready to enjoy a lot of fun, learning and achievement in the year ahead.

Things to look forward to:

Chasing victories

Netball 2025 winners

NFYFC’s Competitions programme includes a wide range of sports, arts, crafts and farming activities that will appeal to everyone in your club. If you’re creative, then why not try your hand at the Cube Exhibit competition, which is back in the programme this year or for the sporty types there’s Rounders, Dodgeball and Hockey to choose from. The performers can look forward to staging a Drama this year and there’s Commercial Dancing or Show Choir to get involved in too.

Seeing the world

South Africa 2025

If you’ve been seeing all the amazing updates from our YFC travellers this year, then don’t hesitate to apply for the 2026 trips! From volunteering experiences to working to European networking, there’s something to appeal to everyone. All adventures are advertised in early September and are open to all YFC members over 18 to apply.

Learning new skills

OFC Scholars 2025

Being part of YFC means you’re exposed to all sorts of learning and development opportunities locally and nationally. There are workshops that clubs can run during meetings as well as support for those in officer roles. NFYFC will also share opportunities to be involved in our funded projects or partner opportunities and scholarships.

Serving your community

Dyffryn Tanat YFC 2

Being involved in your local club means you’ll have the opportunity to support your rural community. Whether that’s taking on a role in the club and supporting other young people or being involved in fundraisers, such as tractor runs or local initiatives to help others, such as Christmas tree collections or litter picks. This year, we're also starting our walk towards 100 years of NFYFC and asking all our YFCs to deliver acts of kindness in their rural communities and record them as part of our YFC Boot Print.

Supporting farming

Agri-Tech centre visit

YFC’s roots run deep in British food and farming and NFYFC’s YFC AGRI group work together to represent the voice of the next generation of farmers. YFC AGRI is open to all members and there are plenty of farm visits and agri events to get involved in throughout the year. NFYFC’s Agricultural Knowledge Hub is also available to members, packed with guides, reports and opportunities.

Enjoying discounts

Awarding success

Awards - Hector Meanwell

NFYFC’s annual awards event is an opportunity to nominate yourself and others you know for an award to recognise their achievements. Finalists have the opportunity to meet with high profile judges and attend our glittering awards ceremony in November. The event is open to all YFC members to enjoy and attend and tickets are on sale now for the 2025 event in Birmingham on 8 November 2025.

And on top of all of that, we haven’t included the life-long friendships you make, the confidence you develop and the many social events you’ll enjoy. What are you waiting for? Sign up now.
