Members of the Membership steering group attended Farm-Fest 2026 to promote Young Farmers’ Clubs and make new connections.
A fun interactive challenge, supported by Kent Crisps, invited rural young people to learn more about agriculture and YFC, with a raft of prizes donated by industry supporters.
People visiting the NFYFC stand could enter a quick online challenge to be entered into a prize draw to win one of a selection of prizes, collectively worth up to £600. Everyone who participated was also given a free bag of Kent Crisps.
There were more than 140 entries to the challenge, with many requesting more information about joining a Young Farmers’ Club.

NFYFC Chair of Council Jessica Rose joined Membership Steering Group members on the NFYFC stand across the three-day festival and said it was a great atmosphere.
“We had a great time at Farm-Fest and enjoyed meeting YFC members as well as speaking to more young people about our organisation. Warwickshire YFC also had a stand at the Festival and took part in the Tug of War, demonstrating some of the fun activities people can enjoy in YFC! Thanks to all the YFC members who helped throughout the event.
“A huge thank you to Kent Crisps for supporting our challenge and providing lots of free crisps for us to use to tempt people to our stand, and a massive thank you also to Ariat, Hook and Flanker, Young Driver, 3 Donkeys Clothing and the National Youngstock Conference for providing such fantastic prizes.”
The Farm-Fest event reportedly attracted 50,000 people from Friday to Sunday of the Bank Holiday weekend, with more than 400 stalls and 12 arenas at Stoneleigh Park. The event featured live music every evening, with camping options for those wanting to enjoy a full weekend experience.
